About Us
Teel Cook Design was established in 1987 by Industrial Designer Teel Cook, B.S.I.D. Georgia Institute of Technology.
Our mission statement is also our motto: “Providing Design Solutions”. The primary goal is to create simple and elegant solutions when presented with product-oriented problems.
We focus on low-tech solutions such as our flagship product line, the Save-A-Door. This unique and attractive product qualified to receive a U.S. utility patent by solving the problem of door damage from the leading doorknob-mounted Realtor lockbox. Save-A-Door conforms to fit the lockbox with a U-shaped bumper and a shackle slot, and stores flat when not in use. It attaches firmly to the lockbox and moves when the lockbox moves. The addition of a thick felt pad further protects a door's delicate finish.
We also create the eyeGhost wrap for iPod ®, a superior cover for the iPod. Four models are available fitting the 1) iPod Video and the Touch, 2) the new Nano, 3) the Classic and 4) the iPhone. The eyeGhost protects the iPod from scratches and minimal impact while providing full use of click wheel and touch screen. Teel Cook Design seeks ways to serve the local community by partnering with training workshops who provide employment for the disabled and disadvantaged. We also lead inventive thinking courses at local elementary schools to help young students develop their creative and problem-solving abilities both individually and cooperatively in a group. We also provide Inventive Thinking for corporate teambuilding.
